– Puppies

Should I go on? Because there are so many cute guide dogs in training, 99% of students come to campus in the winter. One look into the loving eyes of one of these puppies will make the world right, warm your heart, and temporarily forget about that 20-page chemistry experiment you haven’t started yet.

– Food

The University of Guelph has won the award for best campus food in Canada for a long time. This isn’t just because the food is delicious and easy to find on campus; it’s also a good deal. They have everything, whether you want vegan, halal, gluten-free, or food from your area. Come on, freshman 15!

– Top Tier

Because of its outstanding academics and professors, the Institution of Guelph is frequently rated as Canada’s most comprehensive and research-intensive university. Additionally, it doesn’t hurt that the school is home to a cool cow with a hand-sized hole in its stomach.

– Extracurricular activities

Yes, going to a party is an extracurricular activity, and Guelph students know how to do it right. You can count on the bars being full every night of the week. Trappers, Brass Taps, Franks, The Ranch, or Trappers, there’s always a cheap special going on that gives students the perfect excuse to party when it’s not the right time (like in the middle of finals, oops).

– Green & Nature

Sustainability, protecting the environment, and going green is important to the school and the students. The University of Guelph does a great job of ensuring that every part of its campus helps to protect the environment. Even better, there is a whole arboretum nearby where students can go to hug trees.

– Help for Students

The University of Guelph does a great job of ensuring that its students are happy and healthy. Several support systems, networks, and organizations can help students with any problem, no matter how big. Because of this, the students are very friendly and proud to be Gryphons.

– J-Green

The open space called Johnston green is right in front of the famous Johnston Hall. On a cool fall day, this is a great place to study, play frisbee, or watch the quidditch team practice.

It is also the site of a great April 20th party, so if you’re in the area and smell something a little “skunky,” don’t worry; it’s just the kids showing their appreciation for the neighborhood.

– Mack Attack

There are more Mack, Mac, Macs, and Mac buildings on the University of Georgia campus than the students there know what to do with.
