Chilliwack Sunflower Festival – How the Idea Began?

The idea behind the Chilliwack Sunflower festival began during a visit to Hawaii in 2017. The organisers of the event who also happen to be the founders of the Chilliwack Tulip Festival were awestruck by the beautiful array of sunflower fields during their trip to Hawaii that they decided to come back to Canada to spread their wings and have the inaugural Chilliwack Sunflower Festival in the year 2019.

Since that eventful year, they have never looked back. Both the festivals have created much harmony and the floral beauty of the events has drawn together friends and families to be delighted in the loveliness of the giant sunflowers and speciality daffodils.
